She more quiet and less outgoing. She was all about books. She was also a bit attracted to the ex football star turned author and motivational speaker. She refused to act on that attraction. That was until he started showing up in the place that Amber were at. One thing lead to that thing then another thing. Dash Pennington soon had a way of getting Amber to let her guard down.
Dash was looking for something different in his life. Life was getting a bit to maundane and predictable. He needed something different for his future and being on all the time was not it. He wanted his life to be his not that of one that belonged to the masses. He would never guess that a trip to see his old friends would be the change he needed. He never expected the one person that was not clamoring to get him to her bookstore would be that light at the end of a long tunnel.
Dash shows what his is made of when he takes the initiative to find out more about Amber and her condition. He invest much time in to learning what he can expect and how he can be a benefit to her in time of need.
Dash and Amber were opposites in every way to the outside world, but once together the made beautiful music. I come back over and over for the new romance, but I fall in love for the world of family, friends and community that takes shape in each new installment.
