The Book Junkie Reads . . . Review of . . . A GOOD KIND OF TROUBLE (A Trouble in Twin Rivers, #1) . . . What captivated me was the tagline: "There's always trouble in Twin Rivers...". I wanted to see what this trouble was and if I would like getting to know more about it. Well, I did like it and meeting Beacon news reporter Lindsey Fox was a pleasure. The chick is tenacious. She gets in to lots of trouble and this time needs Ben's help. The same Ben that she had a very bad date with. The same Ben that thinks she is trouble and wants another chance with the intriguing woman.

I loved this read because it had more romance and more mystery and just simply more. Ellie Ashe gave me a read that I could come back to over again. Lindsey was just so fun. This one had the twist the turns and the romance.

Narrator: Denice Stradling did a very good job getting me to get immersed in the world of Twin Rivers. There were ups, downs, ins, outs and Denice's voice reflected the various nuances. I loved there were no hiccups and no issues with the change in speed.

BLURB

Beacon news reporter Lindsey Fox is on the verge of breaking a huge story of political corruption that will make her career and make her famous journalist parents proud—or she could be thrown in jail and fired. It really could go either way.

Her recent streak of bad luck continues when Lindsey finds herself facing a bogus contempt charge—and attorney Ben Gillespie is appointed to get her out of the slammer. They once had a bad date of epic proportions—stilted conversation, food poisoning, burglary, towed car. Then there was the incident with the pepper spray. Lindsey never believed she’d see the sexy lawyer again.

Ben can totally believe that Lindsey is behind bars. The woman is trouble. Now he has to get his new client out of jail, keep her out of the grasp of a crazed bike messenger and a shady P.I., help her save her job, and convince her to put down the pepper spray and give him another chance.
