The Book Junkie Reads . . . Review of . . . THE WICKED TRUTH (The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside, #4) . . . Another Wicked bit the dust. We are down another Wicked story. For me and maybe others Madigan has been skirting around the edges of other stories. This time we get to see her fall and fall she does for a very very bad boy. But don't let the outside appearances fool you into a false sense of what's going down.
Madigan and Toby had an electrifying chemistry between them. Even before they officially meet each other. They have seen each other from across a room many times over several weeks. They have a meeting over a song. Was it too fast? That’s another issue to solve in the story.Madigan was smart and busy. She had no time for a man. A quick hook up would work but she was not very good at doing that either. Tobias was a man with a past. He was not looking to be seen. He want peace and to just disappear in the crowd of people.
Once these two get their chance fireworks are just the beginning. We see lots of the other past couple. We see much of family and friends. We delve deeper in to what make Madigan work the way she does. She was not a flake just moving place to place.
I love visiting she Wickeds (family and friends).
Audio Lovers - Jacob and Savannah bring the characters to life and make the story that much more. Love the performances provided by them both. You make a connection to the characters and enhance the visual.
Reasons I enjoyed this book:
