I read this once and listening to it took it to a new level of enjoyment. I found things placed in differnt context than when my eyes were on the page. Having you ears open to listen to the journey of Moon and Josie was delicious. I was mad about Moon all on my own, but now in audio it just become more. 

The duo narration brought to life the sexy hot alpha mc member and the sexy, smarty, sassy single mom. Woodward and Morgan gave me the dualing POVs right on a plater. Brought to life the characters and the views on the things going on around them. The diciton, pitch, tone and distinctions allowed for a very enjoyable listening. Melissa Foster has herself a winning combo and a fab audio.

The Book Junkie Reads . . . Review of . . . Driving Whiskey Wild (The Whiskeys, #3) . . . I loved Bones. For a while now and here was my chance to learn more about him and his love chance with audio. I fell in love with Bones from the first chapter. He was the ultimate package lusting after one woman and adoring her children. He knew this one woman was it for him. No matter if she accepted him or not. She was his. He would respect her wishes on the matter and he would cherish her regardless the outcome. 

There were some of the most heartfelt moments and memories created. There were the good, the bad, the painful, the down right ugly/beautiful/terrifying. Seeing someone you love beyond words be terrorized and coming to their defense puts something in to perspective. This Whiskey loved his woman and her children. He was not going to let anyone, no one harm them or even scare them. You get to see the protective streak of the whole MC and Bullet steps up and makes a decision Bones can't deny. 

The Narration duo brings to life the story that I already fell in love with when I read it. I would not change a thing.

Driving Whiskey Wild (The Whiskeys, #3) . . . Getting to hear the story instead of reading it allowed for another level of falling in love with the Whiskeys clan+. Paul Woodson does a fab job. He gives us a full on male in its various stages and pitches. I could just close my eyes and feel each word spoken. Melissa Foster did a fab job with writing and choosing the narrator. 

When I read this book I was having a little trouble trying to figure out where to start with my review. Let me just jump right in with the sweetness of Finlay and the rough, gruff, alpha of Bullet, the Dark Knights club and the Whiskey family. We find a chance to see all our previous couples Gemma and Tru, Bear and Crystaland now Finlay and Bullet are being added to couple status. 

An addition to the series that just enhances the love you feel with each new couple added. Family. Friends. Love. Connections. Bonds.

I highly recommend reading/listening to Tru Blue first. Fall in love slowly over the course of a few book with all the characters/couples and the narrator.

The Book Junkie Reads . . . Review of . . . TRULY, MADLY, WHISKEY (The Whiskeys, #2) . . . Let's just keep this one out in the open. I very much enjoyed this one when I read it. I fell a little bit more in love with Paul's narration skills. . . .

I wanted to know/hear Bear's story. I wanted to know more about him and where he would go with love. And then there was Crystal. Seeing then together and wondering if it was truly something there or just an illusion written in to misled. The banter between Crystal and Bear was my favorite. Their interactions just felt real. Audio allowed for me to visualize the characters, the play, the setting a bit clearer then reading did. 

There were all the things that allowed me to fall in love from the book now done with narration that was really good. Paul's voice allowed for you to feel things in the various scenes that intensified the experience of this listen. The chemistry was there. Bear was the tatted, sexy, muscular male that was just wanting to be wrapped up with that one special woman, even if he really didn’t think so. Crystal well she was a woman on a mission to rise above what she was born to and raise around. There was a lot between then and a lot behind them. Coming to terms with things was what was needed. Life decisions were needed to be made. Watching as they come to this realization and doing it together was beautiful. 

I highly recommend reading/listening to Tru Blue first. Fall in love slowly over the course of a few book with both the characters and the narrator.

There was a rich deep depth to the characters of this read that will stay with you for a long time. Its sexy, raw, dark, alluring, and captivating. You find friends, family, and more. Tru Gritt was a man that did do whatever to protect his family. Tru will steal your heart in this heartfelt grapple with family, devotion, friends, respect, acceptance, determination, life's second chances.

Melissa has given me a raw, dirty, dark look into the life of an ex-con that happens to be an older sibling doing what it takes to keep his family safe and cared for. I felt this one was a bit deeper in its emotional connection and had a more darker undertone than anything I have read of hers. Narrator Paul Woodson was new to my narrator list and he will be there for a while. He gave the male POV strong presence and strength. You could find a connection with him and his characters with each new voice he provided. The audio was clean, clear, and flowed well.
