And for those that had their one story in other Xavier Neal books.

This was a short look at a fun couple that loved adventure. It was a good addition to June and Tucker's life. Some times life is real and not always fun.

This time we have Grim and the Mrs. making more trouble for our duo. As they fight for us and against time, they provide an action packed story leading to a wedding with more of lots of things. CB makes the world of Myla and Lincoln come to life again with more details, more characters, more action, more adventure, and dare I say, surprises. 

I try to lead with this statement. I am biased in my views and opinions. I love the world of Angelbound. I love each and every story created. I love the depth of details given about the world, its content, its characters. I love Myla and Lincoln.

This time around there was just enough of a story for an adventure and to keep your favorite couple in the limelight. There was no need to drag this one out. I was like a chance to visit M&L for a short stay just to catch up on things.

The Book Junkie Reads . . . Review of . . . VIOLINES AND VAMPIRES (Vampires of the Daemonverse, #1) . . . I loved this when it was a mini serial on Kindle Vella (Blood Slave). Now, it is more. There is more to explore and imagine. This time around it is also a quick read but it has so much to revisit and to discover. There was some of Caelin's life before. The fiery connection between Caelin and Lexa. I am certainly looking forward to how CEE BEE bring Caelin and Lexa to the main stream. This was just part one. There is more in store for this couple.  

Lexa Uznetsov she loved her sister very much. (sidenote: I did not like her mother at all.) She was willing to almost anything to make sure she had what she needed. Caelin MacGregor was mysterious, sexy, and oh my. There was something more there between them. It was alluring and seductive. Their first meeting was it really the first time?  I am waiting for more from Caelin and Lexa.. Where will this go? How far will it go? Will she be safe? Will Caelin be the answer or the questions?

The Book Junkie Reads . . . Review of . . . FOR THE LOVE OF WHISKEY (The Whiskeys: Dark Knights at Redemption Ranch, #3) . . . You will need to have a box of tissue handy and someone to hug at some point during or after the read. 

Sully and Cowboy come into each others lives at a pivotal point. Sully wants to stand on her own and make a way. Cowboy wants to be a protector to this woman he knows as the woman on the poster. This story had it all love, lies, tears, family, friends, confusion, protectiveness, and so much more. There was a lot about this story that would and could trigger your emotions both good and bad. I had to listen to the story twice to get my thoughts just right. I cried a lot. I teared up on the verge of crying. I love love love stories that can invoke an emotional response.

I will never understand the thoughts of those that feel they have a right to enslave those weaker than them. I have not understand of why parents would allow for someone to sexually abuse their female children in the name of religion. I will never have the concept of this being acceptable. But I have to say that I do understand this happens all over the world and even in my very own backyard.

This entire series has been emotional for me in some way or another. There are real life issues discussed and highlighted. Melissa Foster brings more to life than just romance, hot steamy sex. She makes you think. She allows for you to feel the world around you. She gives you a range of characters and their real lives. This gets me to come back again and again for each new story. And at times to go back and visit some of them again.

Aiden Snow and Meg Sylvan bring to life the characters that have become an emotional journey. You can feel it all in the voice depictions from each of them. Their voices lend to the turmoil of emotions of the various characters. I love this. This make the stories come to life even more so with the words that are written by the author.

The Book Junkie Reads . . . Review of . . . CRAZY, WICKED LOVE (The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside, #3) . . . I always love returning to Bayside. I love return to Melissa Foster and the stories she create. I love even more falling back into the Wickeds and the Dark Knights. They felt like more than family. The had bonds deeper than blood and stronger than steel. Gunner and Sid's trek to love was no different. I loved watching and Gunner works to help Sid catch the man she wants. He has not clue this was just a mission Sid has undertaken to get him. She has loved him for years. He just sees her as another friend or worse just one of the guys. This was a friends-to-lover with a lot of work and fun along the way.

CB always deliver with the world she created for the Angelbound World/Universe. There was so much for you to get lost in. The vivid imagery was just a tip of the delights you will find within the pages of this new trilogy. Her mind is just amazballs.

Xavier was a lone warrior that liked it that way. Of course, you know that it had to be a female to show him the error of his thinking. Not just any female. With him being an angel it could only be a human female. A human female, Camilla, that shows him a bit more than he was not and could not do this alone. 

Camilla was so much more than what Xavier was barging for. She was that one for him that would make everything in his world make sense and not make sense all at the same time. You will have to pick up a copy of Archenemy to see what I am not telling you.
