Jennifer Alsever served up a new and different take on young people morning the loss of those they love. What happens when they find it too difficult to get past the fog in their brains, hearts, and soul? What happens when they numb themselves to other things that don't want to let you go when you find a little clarity? I am most certainly waiting to jump right in to the next book of this strong series. There's always something more.
Narration was on point. You got the intensity of the emotional turmoil that our main character was going through. You get a range of voices to circumference the cast of characters. Through it all you are not left wanting to know who said what, how was one feeling, what should be the feel of any one scene. Todd sealed the deal and delivered an intense performance.
