She more quiet and less outgoing. She was all about books. She was also a bit attracted to the ex football star turned author and motivational speaker. She refused to act on that attraction. But would you really want to. Yes, to get a feel for the vivid imagination of the world created to bring everyday fairy tales to the forefront of the world. No, because you would miss the journey through the Magicorum to this point. There have been many fun things that have had Elle and Alec and the rest (Bryar & Knox) involved. Each one gave something different, special, reminiscent, of a story or event you have enjoyed, heared, or experienced. Come see what this Glass Slipper Festival (Ball) have in store for us all. A very welcomed addition to the series with more to come.  I am excited for the next  Fairy Tales of the Magicorum installment (Grayson Eyre). Let you figure that one out.

The Book Junkie Reads . . . Review of . . . HUNTRESS (Angelbound Offsprings, #7) . . . I was not ready for this unleashing of Huntress. Now, let me get this out of the way. I loved, loved, loved seeing more of Portia, Kaps, Mack, and a few others. Huntress was everything I could dream of to add to the series of Angelbound Offspring. As always, for me anyway, Christina slammed dunked the world she built. The visual her words cause allows for the picture to play clearly across your mind as you are reading each sentence, paragraph, page, chapter. The delight of being able to make the picture feel so real. I felt fully engaged from the beginning of the first sentence. 

Huntress brought it on all the way. You get a strong female that loves her family. She was determined to be alone and fight the same way. She was even more determined to protect her family no matter the sacrifice.

Be ready for the things that unfold within the pages of Huntress. Be ready for the fantastically visual world. Be ready for Huntress and Gage.

When it comes to Melissa Foster and the heroes that she write, you should not be amazed you fall in love with each one for a different reason. Tank Wicked has been the one hero that I have wanted to see more about since the first time he was introduced to me in the Bayside series. Just from that brief encounter with him then. Showed there was something more about him. Having the patience to wait for his story was hard. Tank was not just another sexy, strong man. He was a man that has experienced a deep loss that changed his entire world. He was hard working, protective, strong, determined, and hurting. His counterpart was Leah and she was confused. I found her to be angry with Tank, but attracted to him at the same time. I would not call this an enemies to lovers. I would call this a complicated love match.
Once again Melissa Foster delivers a since of family, pride, respect, friends(ship), community, and an emotional component that have you thinking and relating it to something real. Looking for an engaging read that will touch your emotions, have you experience loss, love, bonding, and give you a couple that works to make it work. Then you need to pick up The Wicked Aftermath. Tank's story was a long time coming and it was so worth it. The depth of his story draws you further into the world of the Wicked's and the Dark Knight family.

I can tell you this I was so excited.....EXCITED!!! when I finally got my copy of this book. I was excited to see what two people both damaged in different ways and both came out with a different outlook on life and those around them. I loved...LOVED spending time on Silver Island again. Now as I was saying in the beginning.... I am not sure where to start with what had me turning each page after page. Grant Silver and Jules Steele were just so good together. They were a match that Grant could not see happening. Jules ever the optimist was all in from go. I want to tell you everything, but I also want you to read it all for yourself. I will tell you this tho it was not easy. It is not all sunshine, roses, and happy faces. This one was work. Grant and Jules had to work for their forever. And that for me was the best part. I believe that MF has done it again and again. She brings fresh new characters with a spin on their lives, but I could feel at the heart its family, friends, love, and so much more. That was just a myth told to allow you to feel comfortable. Pat Benatar said it best, "Love is a battlefield..." A battle is just what Ella will have to go through to get to her prince charming, Alec. Then we have to add in her step sister Agatha and of course her drama that goes along with it. You will find that there are some things that you just have to see for yourself and others that just can't be faked. You will get a few surprises along the way to the fairy tale ending of this modern day fairy tale. Not all boundaries can or should be crossed. You must understand that sometimes the battles within are much harder than a physical obstacle. 

CB gave us another hit out of the park. This time around Ella, Alec, Agatha, Jacoby, and others find that their lives are not scripted. It's coming at them full force in some cases and just the sneak attack in others. I highly recommend picking up the sixth installment in the Fairy Tales of the Magicorum. If you are new to the series go ahead try this one first, but I tell you will want to start all over at the beginning of this series and see all the things that made this fairy tale more than just another bedtime story.
