 The Book Junkie Reads . . . Review of . . . THE SPARKS (Feud Trilogy, #1) . . . This was a bit different for me. This was the first time I got to read a book for YA Fantasy written by an YA. This was a new take on the way that they see things. The level of imagination that was put into the world of Altryon. I found it to be intriguing and vivid. The separate, yet powerful families promise to protect the future and the people. Eventually this was to come to some type of impasse and in-fighting. If not for one reason it was for another. This for me was just wat a book one would state. It was the laying of the ground work to set the stage for more to come for Neil and the others. This was a complex read that would require more than one brief look. The depth needs to build and surround your senses.

Jon Eric Preston put a little something extra into the way he narrated this read. I found some comfort in listening to his voice. I found the audio to be clean and of good quality. The narration was solid for the work that was provided. I look forward to hearing more from both Jon Eric and Kyle (the Feud Trilogy).

THE FLAMES (Feud, #2) . . .   Neil is back with his own epic fantasy filled with more adventure, treachery, and a bit of ruthlessness than he could have ever bargained for when leaving the walls of his city. The words flow from the pages and the vivid visual provided is all consuming. The imagination of the scenery, the supernatural events/activities makes this all the more rich and filled with depth. 

There comes a time when Neil has to make grown-up decisions and choices that could cost him his life, his friends, his family, and maybe an ally/enemy. There was no turning back for Neil in this installment of the Feud. He has no real choice but to move forward. Just which way he does that was the real choice. 

Jon Eric Preston has lead us through book one (The Spark) and now he takes us on a journey with the voices he has created for the characters old and new. Seatback put on some headphones/earbuds, close your eyes and allow for it all to unfold via Jon's voice and depiction of each character though his narrations of The Feud's second installment.

  The Book Junkie Reads . . . Review of . . . THE ASHES (Feud, #3) . . . Is it fare to put a teen through so much? Or  is it just a product of his life and the way he was raised to rise above all and become that more needed? Neil Vapros was born for so much more than he himself could have every imagined. He was needed to be more and better than even prophecy told. He was the future for his nation. There was even more for young Neil to uncover in his rise to be more. Things he may or may not be able to move beyond. This YA had the characters (both primary and secondary), the action, the mystery, and a little suspense. The final installment had a conclusion you are not ready for. Or then again you may just be, so get to it and get it opened up ready to read or listen. This was worth it all.

Jon Eric Preston did the job so well. Familiar voices of the various characters you come to love and not so much throughout this YA Fantasy. This was a fitting conclusion. But that does not stop my questions and want for more.

In other words, I ran from my fairy tale life, but it found me again anyway.

At this point, I should head for the hills, yet I simply can’t leave Dex. For the first time, I truly feel comfortable around someone. In all honesty, it’s probably because I have self-esteem issues and Dex can’t see my bland face. Even so, it’s all good until Lady R discovers where I am. And that leads to my Rapunzel problem.

Their journey through the Fairy Tales of the Magicorum has only just begun. Can you say yes, yes, yes? I was ready and waiting for the new couple of the Magicorum. I find a new and interesting take on well loved stories from the past with the twist that only Christina could provide them. There are something that you just have to see for yourself. I cannot in good conscience tell you those things. You need to read it for yourself. I am an avid fan of the Magicorum. I find no disappointment in any of them. You find new reasons to keep moving forward with each new couple, new installment, and new tale incorporated. Just know this is not the end of Garyson's story.

The Book Junkie Reads . . . Review of . . . CLOCKWORK IGNI (Anglebound, #9) . . . There is no way that Myla's adventures could get any better. OR is there??? I have to say that after just the first few chapters I got a good dose of Myla's reality and a world still full of action and adventure. Myla's has a darn good new battle on her hands and her mad is a sight to behold. I love going on adventures with Myla and Lincoln.

There is not time like the present to jump on the action adventure fantasy with Myla, Queen of Antrum and a** kicking.

Where can I find my sort of damaged-strong silent-sexy-protective alpha male. Diesel had much to work through. He was planning his get away or was he really. She came in and turned his world around. She came in and for the first time in his life he sees something more than moving from place to place. 

It's been two long years of keeping his hands to himself. His thoughts and desires have been on broadcast to all but the one that he wants most. She's small, feisty and have been through a lot in her young life. Tracy has found her way into the heart of the most unlikely man. Except one person knew what she saw was the beginning of something so much more. She could see that the two had more in common than what anyone could see on the outside. 

I have to say that through a good portion of the story. I was looking for Tracy to kick some serious butt.  Her witt was strong. Her passion of one very large, strong (in heart, soul, and mind) man. Desmond (Diesel) Black was hers completely. 

With this one we get to see the Whiskeys across the country. We visit both locations and and hear more about possible future romance. The characters are strong, rich, determined and allow for us to see past couples and future ones. Love Melissa's stories. And her beast was more heart, soul, and protection than his stature alluded to.

FAIRES AND FROSTINGS (Fairy Tales of the Magicorum, #7) . . . You could jump right in here and discovery a world of fantasy and reality crashing together with more relatable aspect. But would you really want to. Yes, to get a feel for the vivid imagination of the world created to bring everyday fairy tales to the forefront of the world. No, because you would miss the journey through the Magicorum to this point. There have been many fun things that have had Elle and Alec and the rest (Bryar & Knox) involved. Each one gave something different, special, reminiscent, of a story or event you have enjoyed, heared, or experienced. Come see what this Glass Slipper Festival (Ball) have in store for us all. A very welcomed addition to the series with more to come.  I am excited for the next  Fairy Tales of the Magicorum installment (Grayson Eyre). Let you figure that one out.
