The Book Junkie Reads . . . Review of . . . THE WICKED TRUTH (The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside, #4) . . . Another Wicked bit the dust. We are down another Wicked story. For me and maybe others Madigan has been skirting around the edges of other stories. This time we get to see her fall and fall she does for a very very bad boy. But don't let the outside appearances fool you into a false sense of what's going down.

Madigan and Toby had an electrifying chemistry between them. Even before they officially meet each other. They have seen each other from across a room many times over several weeks. They have a meeting over a song. Was it too fast? That’s another issue to solve in the story.

Madigan was smart and busy. She had no time for a man. A quick hook up would work but she was not very good at doing that either. Tobias was a man with a past. He was not looking to be seen. He want peace and to just disappear in the crowd of people.

Once these two get their chance fireworks are just the beginning. We see lots of the other past couple. We see much of family and friends. We delve deeper in to what make Madigan work the way she does. She was not a flake just moving place to place.

I love visiting she Wickeds (family and friends).

Audio Lovers - Jacob and Savannah bring the characters to life and make the story that much more. Love the performances provided by them both. You make a connection to the characters and enhance the visual.

The Book Junkie Reads . . . Review of . . . PLEASING PLATINUM (Draak Legacy, #3) . . . The series is cute and made me laugh. The nicknames of each couple makes the cute that much more. This time around we had beanstalk and pint size. These two were truly made for each other. The Fares nailed this pairing. Their foreplay was talking manuals and organizational speaking. The ancient dragon and half orc human had more in common than the average pairing. The battle with Magetech was still going on. There were a few small victories for the Draak clan, but was it enough. There was found family, a mating, a new generation of Draak's ready to be born. A new world with endless possibilities. 

In this final installment, we meet some good characters, in the secondary. We see where the story/ies could go. We find connections and want more. Will there be more to come from the Draak Legacy? For this group there was variation, connections, and the strength of family. 

Oh! Did I forget to say that I love dragons? I really love dragons. Yeah...

The Book Junkie Reads . . . Review of . . . LADY REAPER (Anglebound, #10) . . . I love Myla. See her in high school and Lincoln pre-purgatory was a change. It was something I was not initial expecting but I feel that it fit into the series. A bit out of order but it still made sense. Short and to the point. Myla and Lincoln have a short adventure. I am bias and looking forward to anytime with Myla and Lincoln.

The dad that most children would want for a father and the dad the other mother/ladies want to have. Tara is the younger sister of his baby, Joey, mama, Amelia. Amelia is very much a selfish, vindictive, ungrateful, conniving person. All these people and more are what awaits you in the current installment of the Steeles at Silver Island. 

There were discoveries on multiple sides of this romance. Levi discoveries he do have feeling for Tara as more than just he daughter's aunt. Tara discovers what her sister truly thought of her. Joey discovers that she is a very special little girl with lots of love to give and receive. Levi and Tara was a sinful hot romance that had taken years to fall into place. 

I want to share so much but at the same time do not want to give away the story itself. There are lots of things that would have you wondering "what". There are things that I want to share that will make you want to slap someone (Amelia). There are things that make you want to laugh and even get angry about. I have to say that I went through a gambit of emotions and feelings the two day it took me to read and analysis my feeling on this story. I love the romance that MF gives me. I love even more when there is a little something more in the story. Joey gets a female figure that really truly loves her as apart of her life on a more permanent basis. Tara get two relationships she did not think should would have. She also gets answers to questions she had but maybe not questioned out loud.

  The Book Junkie Reads . . . Review of . . . EMMIE AND THE TUDOR KING (Hearts & Crowns, #1) . . . Interesting. Entertaining. I even laughed a bit. I was pulled in by Emmie. She was strong and independent on her own. Nick was interesting, but for me the show was all Emmie.
